Capturing Lake Naivasha's Wildlife

We begin the day from your hotel where we pick you up for the drive to Lake Naivasha.   The drive takes approximately 90 minutes.  As we venture to Lake Naivasha, we stop at the Great Rift Valley look out.  The lookout provides spectacular views over the valley that is the home for much of the wildlife that has made Kenya the grand dam of wildlife adventures.

After a short break, we venture down to the lake foreshore and have a quick coffee break.  And after that, we venture onto the lake for some spectacular photographic opportunities.  Not only do we track down the hippos that call the lake home, but we also venture onto a landing where they come ashore.  So there is ample opportunities to capture these magnificent creatures in an out of the water.

And as we venture in our craft around the shores of the lake, we will as also have the opportunity to observe, many species of birds that frequent the habitat of the lake and it surrounds.   Capturing images and video of the hippos and bird life is just the beginning.  Fantastic images capturing the wildlife grazing on the shores of the lake also make this an amazing day.  Following this we then take a break for lunch at a local restaurant.

Following lunch, its then onto Crescent Island where we undertake a brief walking adventure so that you can also capture images and videos from a land perspective.  It’s a magical time before departure and leaving Lake Naivasha for the drive back to Nairobi arriving in late afternoon.
