DAY 1 Helping Create A Future for Children
We’ll spend a fascinating day at a Nairobi community that is stepping up and away from poverty. Your host at our Education and Nutrition Center will be the principal and you will be able to involve yourself in helping prepare a hearty lunch for the children
DAY 2 New Beginnings for Young Mothers
We travel to our Women’s Empowerment Center and meet the young mothers who’ll share their sometimes emotional but inspiring stories. You will get insights into various initiatives that are setting them up in their own small businesses.
DAY 3 It’s time for Grandma and her Pigs
Today we’ll meet grandmas at their homes in rural Nairobi. The grandmas are now successful pig farmers and their family homes are fueled by bio gas energy systems. This is another amazing day of insights.
DAY 4 The Masai and their World
Today is a total immersion in all things Masai. We’ll depart for a Masai community to spend the day with village Elder Daniel, his wife Rispa and their warrior son Risa. They’ll share their age-old cultures and traditions.

Two team dinners with the One Horizon team at Nairobi restaurants on Days 1 and 3.Light luncheons daily and unlimited fruit, tea, coffee and water.Air conditioned car transfers – each day we’ll collect you from your hotel at 9am and drop you back at about 5pm.
